EL MILAGRO ECONÓMICO ALMERIENSE: UN ESTADO DE LA CUESTIÓN ACERCA DEL PAPEL DEL SECTOR PÚBLICO Y PRIVADO

Abstract

In the present work, a state of the art of Almeria agriculture is carried out with the aim of analyzing the role played by the public and private sectors in agricultural development. For this, a review of different academic articles divided by decades has been performed in order to analyze the predominant themes at each moment, On the other hand, a review of academic articles published in recent years has also been carried out to analyze the main issues that affect the sector and those that will affect the future.
The results obtained show that there is an important consensus around the importance of the public initiative for the creation of the sector as we know it today. Finally, regarding the issues of the present and future, the State must continue to act to eliminate the problems caused by the decrease in incomes, labor market problems and environmental impact (negative externality).
