5th Southern Hemisphere Economic History Summer School

The Economic and Social History Programme of the Universidad de la República (Montevideo) is proud to announce the 5th Southern Hemisphere Economic History Summer School (SHEHSS V).
The SHEHSS V seeks to attract postgraduate students working on the economic history of the Southern Hemisphere, but also of other developing regions. We aim to gather together a group of 15 to 20 students, who will have the opportunity to present their own research, to discuss their work with peers, to comment on the work of their peers and to receive expert advice by world- leading scholars in the field of global economic history. Students will also have the opportunity to attend a series of lectures on the comparative economic history of the Southern Hemisphere.
